Testing Information
The College provides computerized online testing, which permits you to conveniently test when you feel prepared.
Examination Format
End-of-course examinations are up to four hours in length and consist of multiple-choice questions. Examinations are delivered
online through a secure web-based interface. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam. You will receive
your results immediately upon submission of the exam, with feedback indicating relative strengths and weaknesses of your exam
performance across each learning objective. Individual test questions are not available for release to students. Exam format
and administration are subject to change.

Testing Integrity
You are required to:
- conduct yourself in an ethical and professional manner at all times before, during, and after the examination;
- perform independently on the examination, without assistance, including but not limited to the use of study materials, books, notes, reference materials, and consultations with other persons; and
- protect the security of the examination.
You are prohibited from:
- falsifying any aspect of the exam;
- duplicating test materials;
- furnishing any other person or entity with questions or answers contained in the exam.
Failure to abide by these expectations or engaging in any prohibited or unethical behavior may result in action by the Academic Disciplinary Committee and may result in discipline up to and including your dismissal as a student of the College for Financial Planning.
Browsers
The College for Financial Planning online testing website is accessible by any browser that supports HTML, CSS, and
JavaScript. No plug-ins are required, and you will not be prompted to install any additional software.
It is suggested that you use the latest version of your browser of choice.
Internally, the College reviews the online testing website with the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox.
JavaScript must be enabled in order to take an exam.
Cookies and Privacy Concerns
It is required that your browser accept cookies.
Cookies enable us to keep track of important information essential to the online testing system. We are aware that privacy is very important to our students. We respect your privacy, and use strict standards to protect that privacy. We recommend you review our Privacy Policy if you have any concerns.
Firewalls
Company firewalls sometimes block access to portions of our website or prevent the use of JavaScript. Your system
administrator will be able to tell you what is, or is not, blocked at your location.
When can I take my exam?
Check your eligibility by clicking on the course link on
eCampus.
Where do I take an exam?
Professional Designation and LUTCF® students can access and take exams through
the Student Learning Portal.
The College does not require you to utilize a testing center for testing. However, if you meet the requirements to obtain State Insurance CE, and plan on using the course for State Insurance CE credit, you must test at a testing center and pay a testing fee for each exam. After paying your testing fee to the College, you should contact the testing center directly to schedule your exam. For more information click the Testing Center tab.
Can I use a calculator on the exam?
You may use a financial calculator that is not alpha-programmable. Please reference the
Approved Calculator List.
Do I have to complete the exam in one sitting?
Yes, exams must be completed in the four-hour time limit. If you require special accommodations, please contact
kpespecialservices@kaplan.com.
Can I change my answers?
You can review all exam questions and change your answers as often as you like before clicking on the Submit button. Once you
click on the "Submit Exam" button, answers cannot be changed and the exam cannot be accessed.
Do I receive immediate results?
Yes, the exam is graded immediately after you submit it and the Exam Report is displayed.
What are the computer requirements?
Any modern web browser should be able to display the exam. View the computer requirements tab for more information.
I was unsuccessful on my first exam, how long do I have to wait to retest?
It is suggested that you wait a minimum of 24 hours before you retest. This gives you time to do additional study on
the subject matter.
How many times can I test?
Professional Designation and LUTCF® students must test at a testing site and pay a testing fee for each
exam attempt. You may test as many times as needed. A rescheduling testing fee must be paid to the College at least
24 hours before you want to test.
How do I launch the exam?
You can access your exam by logging into
onlinetesting.cffp.edu
or from a link to the exam on your course's information page on
eCampus. For exams proctored by a disinterested third party, you will use your
student login and password provided by the College at the time of your enrollment. This is the same login and
password used to access eCampus and your online study materials. You may contact the Student Services Center

If you are testing at a testing center, the testing administrator will help you access your examination.
